I've bought an on-car boot seal, it has clips that come with it but I can't figure out how to fit them. They look like maybe I should be pushing them through a hole, but there are no holes there to use, can anyone provide some guidance?

Are you sure you haven't ended up with a on-boot lid boot lid seal?

Yep, I just called Minisport, they sent me the wrong seal, apparently it's a six week wait until the correct seals turn up :(

Why not fit what you have, to the bootlid?

I used the soft on-boot lid seal, with Selleys Kwikgrip contact adhesive. I had bought clips but the damned things didn't fit the boot lid holes.
Has been on there 10 years now, no problems.
