Is it possible to tighten up the outside door handle (round nose type).. the drivers door handle is very lose.. has a lot of movement in it, even when locked (I've seen many other peoples like this aswell.) I havn't bothered taking the lock off and looking at it yet, but is it possible to tighten it up?

yeh i usually wouldn't mind.. but I noticed someone has had a go at opening my lock with a screw driver... and I reckon the lose door handle makes it look easy to get into.

Honk theres a coil spring in the lock and i guess you could wind it one more revolution around
but this might break it.
this is not an easy job, taking apart a door handle
doing it for the first time, grease everywhere
you need skinny hands and patience

Well I might have a go with mine.. I've got skinnyish hands... not too much patience.. but worth a try. I could always go Mr bean style with the latch and padlock? :D

If it's loose as in rocking around you can strip it out and play with the nylon `shims' in there. Add 1 or more..
If it's sagging (aren't we all?) the little snail return spring is shafted. PM TheMiniMan and he might getcha some new ones. Probably in exchange for beer, or monetary equivalent..
