These days I prefer the MED ones.
The last 2 sets of Minispares 1.5s I've seen had bent and loose thread adjustment screws from poor manufacturing. Had to swap them with stock Mini screws. I suspect the MSC rockers are now not made in the UK or EU.

I used Yella Terra in my build and they look to be exceptional build quality. They were highly recommended by the engine builder etc

Mickmini runs the expensive MED ones, I put a set of the cheaper ones I linked onto a 1330 Cooper S recently. They are well made.
A little heavier than some others, but on a road car peaking at 7500 or so they are fine.
The MED rocker shaft is thicker too, 17mm vs 14.3mm. Makes the assembly more rigid.

The Med LDX have the W shaped rocker posts,... which are super solid but only in 1.5 for racing , both Med kits are well made, .

I have not seen them but the Calver 1.4 ratio, with KC special harder/better adjuster screws ( he got sick of the cheap cheese metal adjusters being too short.) could be a good road car option.

Also be prepared to buy some shims to correct/optimise geometry if going taller than 1.3.....


On fitting 1.5 to a road car, not normally advised, as in most cases the benefit is felt high up in the rev range but the low to mid ranges can actually suffer depending on cam. but it depends on the whole package, cam/ head, valve size. flow, rockers..... i would also take a punt at saying if you were going to stick to twin 1.5 carbies, you should stick at 1.3ish Rocker ratio,.. IMO a HS6 or HIF44 or weber or dellorto (45) would be almost mandatory to get the most from 1.5 ratio..... ( unless you have the English highly modified twin SU Racing carbs)
