Hi everyone,

The door pin/bush that's in the top Hinge on my drivers door keeps dropping down after a few open and closes of the door (I then need to tap it back up with a hammer).

What's my best option for fixing this? Can you get oversized pins, or will I need a new Hinge, orrrr other suggestions?

Cheers
James

Find another hinge and repin it. Note the 4 hinges are different.
If the pin is falling out and it is right way up (knurl at top) the hinge hole is worn out.

Would some form of Loctite product work on that?

Sure, IF the holes in the top and bottom are not worn out. James should have shown me on Thursday. The knurl on top end of pin stops it falling out. But I have seen hinges fixed with nut and bolt, or even a broken hss drill bit. :(

As Kevin said there are 4 different hinges & you cannot mix the hinge sections
or should I say you should not mix the hinge sections
the hinges are usually stamped UL, LL, UR, LR or they may be numbered
1 & 2 Together 3 & 4 together 5 & 6 together 7 & 8 together
