Has anyone fitted the new alloy door hinges to their car
or are the original cast ones better

I have alloy on one side and the originals on the other.
They are lighter and not worn out. That's the only advantages.
Don't over tighten the studs, and I doubt they will last as long as the originals.

Alloy hindges are made for the much lighter sliding window doors. How long they would last on our wind ups, who knows?
