I was under the impression that Gulf Western XMP was the one to look for. It is SH/ CD rated - as opposed to XP ( not on the gulf western website and i have only seen in the flesh at supercheap.. which is SL/Cf4 rated...... If i recall the cheap one does not hold viscosity well at temp..... whereas the XMP does... ( not sure about this but hopefully someone will chime in )

I was always under the impression that GW oil is recycled oil! I have always stayed away from it as it is full of detergents.
Maybe I have been misinformed

Used to be so, but I understand now they have a new plant at Dunheved, near St Marys NSW.

GR has been through this plant and was impressed.

I've been using the XP oil, it holds pressure fine for me with no oil cooler.
