Post subject:  Which Brake Master Cylinder?

All, making progress on my Deluxe project at home, but need some assistance. It's time to get some master cylinders for both brake and clutch.

Original tin can cylinder is gone from the brakes, and has been replaced with the current crop of plastic bodied units. Clutch master is an unknown condition tin-can jobbie.

For reference, brake system will be vented KAD 4-pots on the front, a hydraulic handbrake, and standard drum system in the rear. Rear subframe is now a dry Rover-type so I currently have no proportioning valve at all. I would also like to add an adjustable proportion valve as it will likely see some weekend Motorsport and Hay duties too.

With that in mind, which brake master would you be choosing? Stick with the standard single circuit one I have? Later LS-type twin system, and add the factory pro portioning valve to suit? Any others about that maybe I've missed?

Cheers,
Stuart

I have one of the later yellow tag master cylinders with a mini spares adjustable valve on the rear subframe. Front brakes are Minisport 4 spot and rear drums, no booster. System works very well.
I had new brake lines made up with the correct size nuts for the new master cylinder as the top and bottom are different.
