Post subject: | what type of cam ? |
I have an old cam that has two rings around it and when the lobes are measured with a vernier the small part of the lobe is 1.088 and the large angle of the lobe is 1.350 ? any ideas as to what this is ? |

those measurements on their own probably don't mean much without angles, ramps, durations the rings are one clue but I don't know what to how wide are the lobes? there are 3/8" and 1/2" versions being small and big bore respectively |

If it's pin drive with 3/8" lobe width it'll be a 1098 cam. |

The 1098 cam has additional exhaust duration (22 degrees) and valve lift (0.033"). |
