Have 1967 Cooper S Mk 1 1310cc with lightened flywheel and mild cam ( cant tell you which one unfortunately)
Am looking to change over SU s to a 45DCOE Weber

Would appreciate any advice on which jets, chokes etc this should be set up with

I had a 45 DCOE 13 on a mildly worked 1330 with the following.

36 Chokes, 160 Main Jets , 180 Main Air Corrector Jets , F2 Emulsion Tubes , 50 Pump Jets , 50F8 Idle Jets , 3.5 Aux Venturis, Pump by-pass jet blocked off, 1.75 needle and seat valve. Float height 8mm full droop 15mm

Just be aware that there are more than one type of weber within the 45DCOE range now and that the more modern ones use a different float height than the earlier ones, so make sure you are comparing apples with apples in that regard. The specs above should be a good starting point though.

Many thanks to GTO Green
Have finally fitted 45DCOE 152 Weber and running fine with 36 choke, 180 air corrector, F20 emulsion tubes, 40 pump jet, 50F9 idle jets, 4.5 Aux vent and float height 14mm(drooping!)

Copied half internet downloading tuning info ...
Using gooseneck manifold with 16mm ram tubes and wire mesh filters . Just clears body without modifying

Significant increase in power over the SUs

All setups are different.

You would be amazed at the benefits of getting it set up properly on a rolling road with a tuning expert.

Sometimes smaller chokes work better for instance.

If in Victoria contact http://www.racepointdevelopments.com/ Len Read is an expert on setting these up.

Hey miniscule. Go see platinum automotive in cockburn central. They have done quite a few local perth minis.then jump into perthminidrivers on Facebook. Most of us perthies on ausmini are there too.

I agree 4.5 AV for the road not the 3.5
