Need help please. I've got an electronic Aldon y distributor and it keeps blowing the module in it. Any able to help me with the problem? The first one lasted one start, the second lasted about 6 starts. The only wiring damage I can see is on the number 3 peg on the back of the ignition where the brown and blue wire goes is brown at the base.

99% of times Module blows because the Coil is drawing too much Current. Meaning it is too low a resistance or is intermittently shorting. Try a Known new Coil with primary resistance above 1.5 Ohms. Like a Bosch GT40.
