Just thought I would start a thread of specialist tools we use, either made up or purchased.

This one is for doing CV nuts and is an old brake brum with 2 holes drilled through it.

Purchased a grease gun adaptor for non greaseable ball joints.
Syringe is for putting 140W oil under the steering boots. The tip is from a bike pump for pumping up balls.

They all have a bleed valve. This one uses a small knob in the gauge block. Others have a larger separate bleed off knob. I used this style of pump for many years testing aviation fuel hoses. Not much to go wrong and the seals are replacable in the hand pump.

It caused a lot of controversy at the time (to weld or not to weld), but a lot of people have got use out of my engine lifting bracket, photos in the how to section.
