Can anybody tell me where i can get some seat covers for my 1971 Morris Mini 1100? I'm curently doing it up and being on a limited budget, can't afford to get the seats reupholstered. i have looked into some custom seat covers and people want about $300+ or they dont have the patterns, can anybody help? |

I bought some covers from Super-Crap (about $30) and asked my wife to modify the top to suit the van's low-back seats. It looks good. |

Yeah I was at supercheap this week they have a special on a certain brand of covers for $30 each. Picked up set of fronts and a rear. Rear was a bit tricky to fit, I had to cut out a square on the top to let the raised bit stick out or the cover wasn't going to fit. It's cheap, and will probably last a year, but it looks decent. Thanks for the advice, i had thought about modifying s pair from one of the auto stores but i dont have a sewing machine. oh well i guess i know what to buy my wife for her birthday( im so dead for typing this). If any of you who have modified the covers could submit a pic of what u did that would be great too. thanks, Mitch |

thanks again for the help, I have found out that a local auto upholsterer will sew up a set of seat covers i picked up from Supercheap ($25 a pair) for about $120 for front and rear which is far cheaper than me buying my wife a sewing machine. i post pics when it's done. |
