Where does the Purple/white wire for the R.H. door switch take off from the L.H. door wire that is in the rear section of the harness and runs along the LH cant rail; and what route does it take to get to the R.H. door switch?

Am rewiring '66 S using original harness mostly. If there is a separate purple/white wire to go to the RH side, I must have lost it. It isn't in any of the other branches.

The wire should run along just behind the lower dash rail.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't think it was right as it seemed a bit too amateurish.
But I looked at my mini K and it runs under the speedo. The twin joiner is behind the dash card at the base of the A pillar.
Thanks,
Bill

Just found a photo of mine. Looks like an after thought.

Thanks again!
Your photo also shows where the panel light lead and oil pressure capillary comes out from the speedo shell to their locations.
That has probably saved me asking another question or 2!

Not sure if that is the correct way. Next time I have to pull the binnacle off I will try and move the panel light switch wires to the larger hole and stick in a grommet as well. This was how it came when I bought the car and I never changed it.

Edit - Here is the way I have routed the wires now.
