Hi guys ok my suspension is set fairly low. At Bathurst with a full car of big units it was really low ie occasional rubber smell. Got home after the rough NSW roads got some airbtime with the car on the trailer... Got home and the car is sitting a lot higher than when I left. I have just bought a pump and fluid to pump it up. Butbso far no need... any ideas why its sitting higher.? |

Very hot weather will cause slight expansion of the fluid and put the ride height noticeably up. Good quality fluid had a stabiliser in it (supposedly) to reduce this. In winter, the height is always a bit lower. |

My first question would be have you had a good look around the suspension with a torch? Maybe something has unseated? |

Maybe the constant pumping of the suspension caused some valves to fail? or go one-way?? Have you tried letting a little pressure out of the systems? |

its all 4 wheels.... both sides. the chance of 4 hydrolastic bags having issues is just very unlikely . |

The car does normally get that when you're driving, but it wasn't subjected to the usual jarring with the full weight of the car when it goes through the pothole itself.... half fill a bottle with water and detergent and gently shake it up and down. Big bubbles form. Bash it down on the bench, big bubbles pop. Drive the car and it'll settle down basically without driving the car, you have no idea what is happening - at this point it's not a lot different to how the car sits up high right after taking it off a 2 post hoist |
