Post subject:  Nyloc knut in gearbox?

Hi Guys
Just about to bolt up my gearbox to the block and wanted to check if it's okay to use a Nylock nut in the gearbox or if the nylon will deteriorate over time.
Welcome any advice before I put it all together!

Nyloc nuts are used on driveshaft yokes where they can cop lots of oil and I think the speedo drive gears in the box are in nylon too.
