1. i cant afford a cooper s

3. i dunno whats best for a first car as far as models ( 997 cooper, 998 cooper, 850 etc

i need a bit of help in knowing what model to get and how much (roughly) :)

Ahem............. um.... err............ *cough* Roundnose *cough*

Seriously Caponix, wanting any old mini is something you have to research extensively, they are not a car that you can buy and forget about maintenence wise, they require constant attention and nurturing to live long lives.... well in my experience anyways.

Anything below $3000-4000 is going to require attention which naturally costs $ unfortunatly. (Anton don't you even think about replying to this with the tired old addage of "What about Pops?" )

yeah well me dad used to have an 850 and i kept telling him i wanna mini and he told me that "well mate i if you do, im telling you now that they are a b#tch to maintain :D" oh well i can always get him to help me

also the reason im asking about models costs etc. is cause there are no bloody minis for sale on the sunshine coast  that means all research i have to do by looking at other states prices

Yeah but Camel, 18 months worth of driving in tasmania is the equivelent of a months driving on the mainland.......... it's not a big place......... a trip to the shops for me is the same as a drive halfway across tassy
