Now drove home tonight, realized I did not have a rear left hand flasher, no light either, but solid amber to the front. I would be guessing there isn't enough load without the rear globe to get the front to flash, should not be the flasher unit as the right hand works fine. Thoughts? I also noticed a black/white or a white/black wire loose, with a bullet connector around the same location as the connection to the indicator stalk. I had a quick look and didn't notice a corresponding wire, will go have a better look tomorrow. I also had a look at some wiring diagrams and the only bw or wb wire was coil related. (all for a oct 78 Leyland mini S) |

I can only say that if a globe is gone the flasher usually flashes quickly. Check the globe then the wiring.. Can you see where the wire goes to? |

In terms of the indicator it was the globe, the man at bursons was confused about that fact that it had twin "nodes" on the bottom, hey it works so I said match it and he did. The wire appears to go to the coil and I am guessing it is a feed to the Coil for a tac, Handy for when I actually put that in. |

Would anyone with a '78 LS or similar with a factory tac. be able to check if they have a white wire with black trace going to their coil please? |
