Okkher i went to a wreckers they have no mini carby, cause mine is rooted? Well maybe it is, lots people says so,
But Bloke pulled out 1.75" Austin Kimberly Carby?

Is this a straight whack onto my 1.5" setup that i have now? Or should i just not care, as i do not now anyways, but it was just an idea :?:

yeah it'll go on, 1 3/4 have 4 bolts, your manifold only has 2, but they line up diagonally with 2 of the 1 3/4 carb ones. It'd be worth grinding the port of the manifold out to match the size of the carb, but otherwise it'd be good crap. Kimberly is 2.5l and has 2 carbs, so an 1 3/4 off one of them should be about right for a mini

I have a Kimberley (I spell it like that because that's the way we spell our daughter's name :) ) Thrust bearing in my mini now. Really good strong one with a huge flat face on it not like the new shithouse ones you get now.

I'm sure this has little to nothing to do with this thread, but you know.

I'll point out `the new shithouse ones' you speak of are made in Japan. I got 3 days out of one...
Now, I only buy the RHP ones with `made in England' on them. They are still good and last for years. 8)
