I had a `61 850, many years ago-
Should be a 2 piece lining- undo the 2 side screws? and take off interior light, grasp the edges near the centre join and slide each 1/2 lining in turn away from the front & rear glass.

So i take it that if i was sitting in the car i am to hold the lining at the join in the middle and slide to the front, and then slide the rear 1/2 from the middle to the rear? |

You slide whichever 1/2 can get first (can't remember) so that it moves away from the glass. Then slid the other 1/2 the opposite way. The linings sit on the cant rail which is widest in the middle of car- so as you slide it, it will come out.

Thanks for that, I shall give it a go as I am wanting to recover the headlining with some nice black velour. I have done the dash in this and has come up a treat, next will be the door trims after headlining. |
