Help from auto sparkys please.... Issue with lights on a 73 Aussie clubman GT. So basically all lights work good as gold by themselves as they should... but...when I am in reverse (remote reverse light switch on gearbox) AND put my foot on the brake I get an issue.. LHS front and rear park lights come on (dim). Take my foot off the brake the park lights go off and reverse lights stay on as they should. I removed LH rear park light bulb and then the front LH park bulb stayed on even without the brake being pushed... so I then replaced the rear bulb and removed front park light bulb and then it the rear bulb still goes without the brake being pressed (still only when reverse is selected (ie. both rear indicators lit up as reverse lights). Seems like an earth fault but can't seem to trace it. Main earth in boot is fine (by tank strap). Could it be he LH rear light is actually dodgy?? Or am I missing something simple here? Please only reply to this if you actually have helpful comments/experience/knowledge. Thanks |

Check earths around the lights that are playing up... |
