Right
Mini runs out of rego tomorrow, so i will drive it to work tomorrow, just incase.

There was the option of me getting it on Special limited, cheaper, older car rego, so there would be no point renewing normal rego, still an option, i just need a new muffler to be roadworthy.

I have just got some 'new' brakes, so now is the best time if i want to sell it. Cause still i think i needs a big V8 banger, so i can go draggin :P in it. But thats always what i think/

Or the way rego works/. It runs out tomorrow, i have 3 months to renew it before i need to have a roadworthy test, so ive got that long to consider what to do, just cant drive it, but i hardly do anyways, so no trouble.

or i can just let i run out, and save about 650 bucks a year on rego and insurance for the mini, and 'put it in the shed' as they say, and come back to it in 4-5 years when i finish whatever at uni?

so much choices, i dont know what i should do? i dont think ive written a story for long  so this is a story, and it seems ive asked, What should i do?
So what should i do?? :?

even though it will prolly have no bearing on anything in the end??

Yeah store it safely, in the dry.
And come back to it in a few years after UNI.
You'll love the extra money you wont be spending on it
And the magna is comfortable afterall.
Store it ! 8)

nothing
i drive it everyday to work its a 'nice' car 8)
which is why i harld drive the mini anymore, at all

Yeah the problem with storing it, i can take it out at all. And its real pleasant driving it just once in a while, and i wouldnt be able to do that at all if i did.

And the extra money not spent on mini would have to go somewhere, eg: the tuff racey 4 cyl manag  :?
yeah its all too hard to know what to do.
lots a '+'s' and '-'s' on each side :?:

dont get rid of it whatever you do

there is no point having 2 cars registered if only one of them gets driven a decent amount. if the mini only gets driven every now and then, and if you can get away with special limited (ie. if its not like the victorian club rego, where i think you can only drive it with a special permit??? not sure on that one) then do that, that way you will be able to drive it every now and then for a bit of fun, and it wont cost you your other arm and leg

keep it dry, and if you dont drive it heaps less stuff hopefully you will minimise the amount of stuff that goes wrong with it? of course you will need to run it regularly to stop it getting completely screwed. take it for a run in the paddock or something :D

Yeah save it if you can in storage. If I've learnt nothing in the four and a half years of owning mokey it's that there is an insane amount of people out there who regret geting rid of minis/mokes that they now wish they had.

namby jack it up put it on blocks so the tyres are of the ground drain the fuel
if you are going to leaver it for a long time buy some cheap shitty oil and fill the motor pull the plugs and squirt oil down the bores then replace the plugs remove the batery and then walk away

Yeah
I just got some pretty almost big way to having good brakes back again, so it would seem stupid to now let it go.
So i only need a new muffler for me to have it up to road worthy standard.

I will get it on the special rego. Its 280 a year, as opposed to that much for 6 months, It can only be driven 52 times a year, and all journeys have to be logged in a book, and if pulled up without an up to date book, well you're out?
I also have to give up the 'LB' plates, i've only ever seen one other 'LB' ever, that was an HJ Statesman, but mother no wants me to, cause 'LB' was her initials before she got married? :? silly woman

But it will be out of rego tomorrow, but im sure that i can still legally drive on the road if i am going to get it worked on at an 'identified'?? mechanic? or if im going to the road inspecting place? or at least thats how i understand it, but

something will happen

possibly don't drain your tank completely.. may rust?
I stored my EH for 7 years in shed, off the ground, but I did replace all the brake fluid in my car with some silicon brake fluid. It does not absorb moisture so your lines will not rust and fittings are easy to remove.

Well this is a stupid idea

I have no idea whats im thinking, cause its all rubbish

Now im sure that im just going to normal rerego it,
cause even though the old car rego is cheaper all round, i have to out law more money right now, for inspection and the rest, and i dont have $$ now, so maybe in 6 months i will go again for the SI rego,
so
thats a plan, and ill forget the muffler, who wants a quieter mini anyways :? ?
maybe i can make it work a bit better as well

i needs a new fuel delivery system? im sure, and i have been toild that too.

Mike, '62mini', id love to accept your help, whenever, just there is too much that needs doing, and its not appropriate for you for me to pay you in 'my' farms potatoes, caulis, brocolli or pumpkins is it :P  ,
but thankyou for that offer, maybe can you please help me fiddle/change over a carby for me? because it doesnt run properly.

cheers 8)
