Has anyone in the Melbourne area dealt with the Mini Bits place in Officer? If so, do they carry much in the way of spares, new or second hand? |

Thats where my car was built 3 years ago, and they were where I got it roadworthied and worked on. Don't keep heaps in stock, they work on other cars too, however claim they can have most stuff you want in overnight if not already there. |

G'day Jack. As Harley mentioned John has most of the regular spare parts you might need - mainly new stuff, not much used. But for slow moving stock (like Mokes  ) give him a ring a day or before hand and he'll most likely be able to get it in for you. I've found his prices quite competitive and it saves a trip into Melbourne.

Don't need parts for the Moke Curly but for the '77 Clubbie I just bought.. Will need quite a few parts at that for it.. Will have to go and visit them soon. |

Ive brought alot of stuff from these guys for my van. They seemed to have the essentials in stock, if they didnt, theyd get it in that afternoon. Me thinks hes got a storeroom at a nearby secret location full of mini bits. also saved me on quite a few occasions...had the mini in bits one saturday. Called John to see if he had the parts and he did..Stayed open that little bit extra so I could get there. good people they are |

yer that is the place that i go and work for sometimes, john has a huge garage at his house that is full of minis and mini parts, they get anything u need, and get it to you quickly, they do next day delivery too, i get most of my stuff from them! |
