I've got a new solid mount front apron, just wandering if there is supposed to be room between the apron and the front of the subrame, or if it is designed to just have a bolt directly between the two to hold it together. |

There was a topic about this before Um .... I think the upshot was that the replacement panels were rover or something items and are different to those that were originally on there. Oops ![]() ![]() http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8806&highlight=front+apron |

I replaced my front apron on my 67 back in 97, im sure it was genuine Rover, purchased from Mini Kingdom, there is a small gap between the subframe and the panel. I made up some spacers out of the correct thickness metal and just slotted them in there. Fitted the bolt through and its all sweet. |
