Any factory black cars are pretty rare. I haven't seen a black 850 in the last few years actually on the road.

Black appears to be the hardest to find colour in all the minis.

I have 170 photos of Morris 850 ID plates. Only 7 are Black so that's 4%.

If they made 60000 cars then 4% would be 2400 black cars. But you cant get an accurate assessment from a collection of ID plates.

i've never seen a black one, i noticed one for sale lately that said factory black, was also curious. thanks for sharing the brochure, thats awesome!
