I have had not much luck cleaning the inside of my fuel tanks .the petrol was in them for years I think it turns into shellac. Does not appear to be any rust in the tank. P767676 |

Put some fine gravel in there, then shake, baby, shake. |

I used white vinegar and let it soak for a while to loosen it up then put a few handfuls of gravel in there. Seems to do a good job as far as I can see |

I did the one in my Traveller with Koala Kare degreaser, and a bunch of nuts threaded together on a string, with lots of shaking. That took out the small amount of varnish from dead fuel, then I de-rusted it with citric acid. It looked like new when it was finished. Tim |

I used CLR in a tank that I had to clean not to long ago and it worked wonders. |
