I see Supercheap Auto have a 6000kg Shop Press on sale 50% off at the moment. $295 down to $147.50
http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Produc ... 0kg/214467

This any good for jobs on the Mini? Good deal or not?
May look at getting one whilst on sale if several Mini related jobs could be achieved.
Reviews are mixed at best!
Thanks

handy if you have room for it, but as to the actual number of jobs you *need* it for? I reckon minimal. Dad bought me one a few years ago, I sent it back, I just don't have room for it and can always access one elsewhere if I need it

Just bare in mind that a shop press under load can be a lethal piece of equipment if incorrectly used or abused! Bit's fly hard and fast when they break or slide out. Looking at the picture of the press in question I noticed that there doesn't appear to be much "meat" around the height adjusting holes?
