There has been some discussion in relation to a change point listed in my book "Australian Mini & Moke - 1961 to 1982" for a change to the floor pan and the fitting of two full length covers in lieu the four small end mounted covers.
Research has failed to provide a satisfactory answer thus far however a change listed at YMA2S2 27869 and YKG2S2 2961 may provide some answers.
I would be interested to hear from owners of both Deluxe and Cooper S around these build numbers. The question is "Before YMA2S2 27869 or YKG2S2 2961 do you have short hydrolastic covers or full length?"

YKG2S2 2836 has the early floor

YKG2S2 2996 has the later floor

I have photos of cars closer to YKG2S2 2961 but they don't show the floors.

That's the best I can do.
