Latest AutoBarn catalogue has a ceramic heater demister for sale at $29.99. Could this be an alternative to the factory heater . Certainly neater and cheaper. Anyone tried one?

I have something similar.
No way will it heat the car, so rug up.
It is effective at defogging the drivers side of the windscreen only.
Not enough juice for the whole windscreen.

Thanks mate, I won't waste my money then and put it towards Minisport heater!
