1 master cylinders, I have been informed not to fit the small plate under the MCs is that correct.?
2 Looking for the colour code Jet Red anyone know ?

should only be the plate with the bent up edge and tab for the engine steady

The plates were spacers for if the pedals didn't line up right, some had them, most didn't.

A bit more info.
As far as I know the extra plates were originally fitted to ensure the master cylinder piston cups weren't covering the compensating port on cars fitted with plastic tank master cylinders. The plastic tank master cylinders use a different pushrod assembly to the original metal tank master cylinders.
I don't know if it only applies to Girlock/Lockheed, PBR or both makes of plastic tank master cylinders.
It lifted the whole master cylinder up a few mms. I don't remember how thick the extra plate was.
According to Link it was common practice to remove the plate on the clutch master cylinder to get sufficient clutch travel.
If you do remove the plates you need to ensure the master cylinder compensating ports are not covered particularly for the brake.
