Ok. so Evil is getting depumpered in the next week or 2.

Has anyone done this? or know of the best way to achive the best end result?

I have a few ideas on how to do it. but would love some input. also any pics of debumpered cars would be sweet.

is it legal in NSW? Ben (ausminis4u) was looking into it and had advice from the RTA. I can't remember if that was positive or negative advice.

well it should be fine. cause its not leaving any sharp edges. I think thats the main thing.

and I think cause the car is not a adr complied car. even better. If I can do a removable flip front. even in fibre glass if i want I am sure I can make the ass of the car look nice and round PHAT ASS

hey cody my mate knows how to do it and i watched him do it get a air saw and a grinder saw a bit grind a bit then mig a bit saw a bit grind a bit mig a bit and so on and so on
also what looks good is to remove the boot hinges and lock and mig up the holes then make up a new arangment i will be doing this to the bitch

yeah thats what I was thinking. I have de flaped the boot lid. would be cool to loose the hinges.. but how? going to loose the bat. box to.

They've got this new fangled idea called "internal hinges" !

If you're going full on mod road/racer (and it looks like you are )
then why not have no hinges or locks and just use 4 quick release fasteners

i know about the internal hindges. lol its finding the right ones for the job that will be tricky. it would be all good if i had access to more tools and stuff to make brackets.

i am thinking the quick relese might be a go. might sit down with the boot lid toningh and have a think about it

the only problem is u will loose the option of being able to drive with the boot open and things sitting on the boot flap. i have only ever done this once but it's sumthin to think about

debumpering the front is easy. u just either drill out the spot welds and use a wedge to pry it off as u go. or just grind it away and don't drill out the spot welds. it's easier and it leaves u with no hole to fill. i got half way through the front and started using this method and it's much better. i haven't done the rear yet i think i'm gunna get it done at a pannel shop

the front is no prob. to do. and i now know how to do the back. just wanted to make sure i was on the same page.

and i really dont think evil is a car you would have anything in the boot

ok. i like the idea of pins on the rear. i just said it cause i thought it was funny to carry things with the boot open. and i did it the other night with a washing machine barrel. i think i will change over to pin after i have paid off my skoolies cruise
