Does anyone know who supplies the correct weather seal for the laminated Mini screen.

In the 1960's there were different seals for safety glass screens and laminated screens, which were thicker. But the seals were all standardised a long time ago.
Now with aftermarket stuff, they all vary and I've had one seal where I could not refit the original screen back into the car.

Agreed.

Here is an SLS on the windscreen seal showing part numbers and sizes.

A lot of the original part numbers have been superseded and the new cross referenced part number is for a standardised part which may no longer be fit for purpose.

Just been reading "Australian Production Mini TP 759 A Section r.17" about Cooper S windscreens, where it states there are 2 windscreen seals, one for laminated and one for the others.

That is what previous posts have already said about different windscreen thicknesses and matching seals.

The original factory quality and specifications for mini parts have long gone from the market and we are limited to buy whatever products we can find that are close enough to work.

If you are looking for a seal for a windsceen, try "glass4classics gold coast". I have found them to be very knowledgeable and up-front about windscreens and seals for minis.

I would also have to agree with Bill. They are excellent to deal with and I'm more than happy with their products and packaging for freight.
