Tonight another mini is on the road...MINE :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

the roadworthy guy came this morning and she passed with flying colours. so with mod plate and roadworthy in hand off we went to get CTP then up to main roads for the rego. 8) 8) took her for her first real drive tonight and...snapped the fan belt :x :oops: :roll:. But called RACQ with my free to go and luckily they had the right belt. drove home with a few rattles but they should be easily sorted over time

At last she is on the road. im so happy :lol: :lol:

That's shocked me though! The RAC guy had a Mini fan belt!

i had an NRMA guy thatt had the right belt...he couldn't fit it though. After waiting for him for an hour i asked him to let me have a go. off i went 15mins later.... if it's not a ne car, most don' have a clue. :oops:

thanks guys. it still feels kind of naughty to be diving it on the road :D

yeh i was so surprised that the guy had the right belt. on the phone they said he they carried corolla ones and i wasnt getting my hopes up. the guy says. ill go do the paperwork and leave you to it. so we had to fit the belt (doubt he knew how anyway) we bent each fan blade one by one and it went on pretty easy and all i had to pay for was the belt :D
