As above I have and old fashioned engine steady bracket that goes from the bottom of the engine to the subframe .... you know the type but the rubbers have worn out any clues on new ones where to get them are they used for something else etc |

The currently available style use the same bushes as the uppers. |

The original lower steady from the 60s (threaded rod) used similar rubbers to the top of rear shocks. Maybe bigger bore, check out using these from a bigger car. Matic's lower steady was similar I think. |

Well I tried the top of the shock rubbers but they are too big and too soft , need more suggestions , the rod is the same as a 5/16 drill . |
