and i quote
"How does the little Nissan do it? With a 1.0 litre four cylinder that?s sequentially supercharged and turbocharged ? that?s how! The unique MA09ERT engine employs a positive displacement supercharger to provide strong bottom-end grunt, while a relatively large turbo steps in to provide up to 13 psi of boost through the top-end.

Power? How about 81kW and 130Nm - from a one-litre engine?!"

so yeh i guess 150hp aint to bad? wonder if ya can get the engines alone from a jap chop shop

There's probably a very good reason it's 'super rare', like who'd want one. Nice looking engine though.

The complete import cars go for about $4500
I tried sourcing an engine/frontcut here in Perth about 2 years ago, but never found anyone who had ever had one :(

770kg is heavy for such a little car - all that extra fruit hanging off the motor must add up!
