Hi All

Im looking at a van soon.
The Info I have found gives me a Leyland Mini van ELC
Can anyone tell me what the ELC stands for?
Its a 76 1000cc mini van

I think the ELC meant the engine was built to the specific emissions controls of the time. Does your vin plate have 26, 27 or 27A on it?

This is an extract from the Owners Emission Control Handbook for vehicles built after 1st July 1976. The handbook goes into some detail with diagrams of the ELC showing the components and connections.
