Hi all,

I believe my Moke is at the point where it will pass a roadworthy assesment, but I am struggling to find a mechanic that is happy to do the job. I have called more than half a dozen mechanics and routinely their first response is 'what is a Moke?', one asked if it was a 4 wheel drive, another asked if it was a truck... Then they either quote an excessive amount for the certificate (I've had up to $260!) Or say they are too busy.

I'm located in the outer western suburbs of Melbourne, has anyone got a suggestion for a reasonable and knowledgeable RWC mechanic? Or do Mobile mechanics do this service also.

Thanks,
James

try Werribee Road worthy centre

http://www.werribeeroadworthy.com.au

he has done several of my cars, and nothing he picked on wasn't an issue.
he doesn't want the mechanic work, as he has enough to do with his cobra restorations
