This is perhaps the stupidist question anyone has asked here.
Where does the heater connect to the engine cooling system.
I know one of the connectors is to the weird looking bottom radiator hose. Where does the other one connect?
Sorry for my ignorance

One end connects to the bottom hose. Late Aus built Clubby and Moke have a metal pipe leading to the bottom radiator tank instead.

The other hose connects to the top of the cylinder head at the clutch end. If you car has never had a heater before, there will probably be a small plate there held on with two nuts. Replace the plate with an elbow or heater tap, depending on preference.

Some A+ engines don't have the heater port drilled out on the head. In which case you will have to drill it before you can fit the elbow. Stud holes should already be there.

ahhhh. I thought I remembered something like that.
I put a 12G295 head on and it doesn't have the elbow coming off the head. Hopefully I have one from the old head.
