Post subject:  Help with Photos for rebuild
Can any one please help I'm rebuilding a 1971 clubman but I got the car it was fully stripped down in to box's so do not know were most of the parts go can any one please put up some photos of the engine bay of a standard car so I can try and work out were every thing go's also if any one has some photos of the dash area showing how the loom is run that would be great

Maybe you can post photos of parts you are looking to find a home for. Then others can show where they fit?

I had a quick look at the FB page. I love the red.

Can I ask a favour? Do you know the body number on the firewall? It should be M2/22 xxx.

The publication says the body number is in the drain channel and all the clubman body numbers I have seen are actually on the firewall behind the master cylinders. So I am not sure if the very first few cars were in the drain before moving to the firewall or maybe the pub is wrong. Clubman GT body numbers were only ever on the firewall.

Thanks. That confirms the body numbers were on the firewall before the 850th YG2S7 body.
