Peeps,

Rang a mob late this arvo looking for some new metro turbo rotors. Got quoted about $65 each..... To me that sounds far too cheap. Anybody bought some new ones before. Anyone bought anything other than standard ones (e.g. drilled/slotted)?

I'm certainly not complaining about the price, just thinking whilst I'm buying some, crap hot ones may not be a whole lot more....

$68 in my Karcraft book, for stock vented ones... that's cheaper than stock S solid ones!
As the old prof would say, "Why is it so......" :?

yep sounds about right,, it was of the main reasons i went the metro turbo brakes, availability of rebuild parts like rotors, caliper seals and pads. Plus they bolt on and stop bloody fantastic.

Muck fe that's cheap.....

Spaced drums for the rears are dearer.

Brad, you say calliper seal kits....where you get these from? I got a set of stainless steel pistons for $50. Thinking whilst I'm doing it all might aswell do the callipers too.

'Bout time I had a win with buying crap, I'm getting a bit sore after being reamed for so long. Bought myself a new steering rack yesterday. Old Jack Read did me a new one exchange for my old one for $200. Thought that wasn't too bad.

Sorry to sound a bit dumb here, but for $65 each, do you get everything needed to do the conversion? Or are the rotors just the roundy bit?

Once again I apologise for asking silly questions, but as my grade 3 teacher said.. "There are no silly questions, only silly answers". I still don't know what she meant! :)
