BK450 Payen. It's a black composite one. aka Turbo gasket. Way better than the copper one these days.

Steve,
Graham Russell has some silver ones (same as minicranks sells) he reckons they are bloody good too.
These are not the old cheapo silver ones- these have copper rings in all the water holes, just like the BK450 does.

Kev, is there a difference, other than the colour?

Different manufacturer (in UK too, I think) can't remember who- I had an engine conversion set but sold it to Mike.

the silver ones that we do, ar manufactured in south africa, have a bore size of 73.6mm, the Bk450 is the same size but 3 times the price but n a road going motor the silver ones are brilliant.
The copper ones onlyhave a bore size of 72.2mm which is a bit touch and go when you start gtting up to decent size bores.
its a mtter of personal choice, i love the Bk450 on my race car but all my other motors run a silver one and never had one fail in years of using them.(most of my other road motors are over bored and run 10.5 compression ratios)
