Mmm catchy thread title  
A Hammertone (charcoal) painted rocker cover. Took me a whole of about 1hr to strip and clean the cover, repaint and refit. I painted the nuts too, and one of the washers, for extra wank value. Looks a damn sight better than just the standard 'Leyland black' rocker cover. Anyone know where i can get a "Hot Run and Tested" sticker from... tell me or i'll be tempted to rice the rocker cover up more and put a JUNBL sticker or something like that on it.

Is the hammer coat heat resistant? I'd hate for the nice bling to bubble up in the summer time

Wow, those boys at Regency will be so impressed by the rocker cover that they will never notice that the air pump is missing.

It's only an air pump thermo housing, and the radiator from a emissions model mini too. Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. And 68, the hammertone paint is said to be all good up to 800*C. Doubt the rocker cover would get that hot

where can you get the hammer tone paint from. it looks SWEET. also if steve (the guy with the leyland stickers) could e-mail me at [email protected], or if someone could tell me how much the stickers are that would be great. |
