Post subject:  Build a MINI TRAILER

For anybody who wants a challenge over the Christmas holidays, a mini trailer may just be what you need......

This thread is where I will list all of the sites I find on the topic of "mini trailers"....

http://www.niksula.cs.hut.fi/~mdobruck/siililand/mini/diy/alien/trailer/1/trailer.html

http://www.japp.co.uk/mini/trailer/

http://www.niksula.cs.hut.fi/~mdobruck/siililand/mini/diy/alien/trailer/2/trailer.html <-- best one

Perfect project for those "accident damaged" minis that are bound for the scrapyard..... so start chopping

Add more links when you and me find em.....

I wouldn't mind having a mini trailer.
Doorlady's would have to be one of the finest examples I've seen.
Carpeted and all. A lot of has paid off there.
Apart from the donor body, are they expensive to make?
(That's hidden costs apart from materials and paint)

:D Hi Harley, Other than the donor body, there was very little outlay in cost, the biggest drama was getting a road worthy certificate ( blue slip ) if it wasn't for a friend in the now!! who organised the blue slip we would of had more dramas, as it had to be back dated as a 1988 built trailer because of us using the original mini lights on the back , the regulations in NSW for the lights say we are supposed to have clearance lights up the side and proper trailerlights on the back. Although it is brand new as far as the RTA are concerned it is a 1988 trailer shhhhh. Your regulations might be different where you live?? If you need any other informaton just ask.
