Are most boot board support brackets pop riveted and not spot welded?

The ones on my car are pop riveted from inside the vehicle. I have left them alone since 1978, have never removed the brackets.

Yes, all the ones I have seen were pop riveted. And there was no paint under them, meaning the rivets were painted too. Most repainted cars have the brackets painted separately for protection so the rivets are often natural coloured.
