Hey all,
In the process of fitting an elec fuel pump to my 64 Van.
Can any one confirm whether the 12v feed (which is a white wire) is in the loom for this? Did all minis have this as an allocation in the loom?
If so, where does this exit the loom in a van?

The body harnesses for the various Mini models were unique to that model, so the 850 and Cooper S with electric SU fuel pump included a wire but the van and other models with mechanical fuel pump did not. To install an electric pump in your van you will need to run a wire, probably alongside the body harness would be best.

This may not be relevant for your car but when I fitted an electric fuel pump to my 69 mini K, there was a white lead already in the loom going to the "body junction" joiner block under the scuttle, near the wiper motor but no wire coming out of the body junction going to the rear harness. I had to add that and remember buying a kit from Jaycar to get the extra female bullet connector for the joiner block. Still have the leftover bits from that kit.
Don't know about vans' wiring.
Just read Winabbey's post. I definitely remember the wiring already in the front part of the harness. I assumed that Mk2 S and mini K had common front harnesses fitted, just different rear harnesses.

Thanks everyone for your help.
Spent part of the day going through the car and wiring diagrams trying to locate it. Confirmed it isn't as mentioned by winabbey.
Going off the wiring diagram that does show where it runs, can possibly go from the ign switch(which appears it would run through anyway after its passed from the 12v fuse block)
I'll just run from there neatly beside the harness in the car to the rear.

On the Mk2 S the fuel pump is fed directly from Fuse A3 (white wire). Another white wire comes from the ignition switch to A3 (which is the ignition-switch controlled power source for all the white wires including the pump. A 3rd white wire goes from A3 to the coil.
From my dodgy electrical skills, it seems you are on the right track.
