1330cc A+... dyno reading at the wheels (the only way a dyno should read).

I dyno'd it at Beninca Motors in Surrey Hills... I wouldn't normally go there (i wouldn't not normally go there either) but Toymods were having a dyno day and instead of taking the Cressida this time I thought I'd take the Mini. It was only $20 to do a run. Normally you'd pay a lot more than that but because we had like 40 people there it was cheaper on that day.

Here's the results if you're interested (I'm 5th on the list)... http://www.artema.com.au/void/stuff/toymods/dyno/index.html
The bloke who organised the day is pretty good at Flash programming so he wrote a litte program so you can compare dyno results from multiple cars. The mini only just beat the 600cc turbo Suzuki Cappuccino that was there. Too close for comfort.

1970 Mini K... The most powerful NA mini at the dyno day was 82hp (61kw)... Are you wanting 90hp (67kw) at the wheels or flywheel? :?

at the wheels, see this is all strange to me, i mean have a look at mini sport stage one kits. when fitted to a 1275A+ your ment to have 90bhp...i think they are full of it
our engines are ment to have like 58hp so what do we have do to get more power..around 90?

Ok... i can confirm that the clubby in Elwood i saw was not your friend's car... I was driving down Barkley St again and glanced down Poziers Ave to see if the mini was there again. It was... Did a blockie and pulled up next to it. Pretty nice example of a Clubman. Ugly looking front but i think all clubmans are like that. Anyhow... RDK 007 is the rego. It had a chrome nudge bar and some fancy seats or at least seat covers. Couldn't stare at it for too long as a car came up behind me so i had to keep moving.

ahh, RDK-007 rings a bell to me. I know the guy who owned it previously.

its running an 1100 that was rebuilt by NMP around 2002ish.
having driven it when it was fresh, it went awesome. Blew the doors off my 68 deluxe easy

I'm not 100% certain about the number plate... I think it was RDK... I had no pen at the time so I tried to remember it by thinking of a word that the letter sounded like. I came up with "Riddick" from that movie The Chronicles of Riddick with Vin Diesel. 007 was an easy number to remember.

It looks even nicer in person... Also, I saw another yellow clubman in Chapel Street today... didn't get a wave from the driver or the passenger. **** arse clowns. :x
