I was on my way to work this morning and spotted something weird. A big steel container, like the ones you see on semis and freight ships, on the ground in the service road of Nepean Hwy Elsternwick (near the corner of Rusden Street) with the doors open.

Not that weird, you might say? Well as i drove past i spotted the distinctive rear end of a mini which was inside the container. There were a few people around and they appeared to be unloading the container. I was in the second lane from the left as i passed and was just barely on time for work so i didn't stop. Would have loved to know what was going on.

Probably unloading a shipped Mini? Either that or they've put it in a container and trucked it down... Most likely shipped though :)

I hope it's not someone's stolen pride-n-joy off to a distant country. :?

I pass a container yard on the train every day. They are often loading or unloading cars. Mostly US and Japanese imports. I have seen a couple of Aussie Minis being loaded too.
