Spotted this nice Mini K today in Mildura (Victoria/NSW Border)..

Was driving along and it was the last thing i expected to see then BAM mini!!

Being the nutter that i am i approached the owner Justin who has had a look around ausmini before and had a bit of a chat about his pride and joy :)

It's a 1971 Model and is quite unique with the clubman b-pillar/doors and roundie tail lights.

Someone also added another switchpanel to the drivers side which i thought was a neat idea 8)

He's been on here a couple of times before, but i suspect he'll see this as i told him i'd post pics up for him.

Thanks for coming up and saying hello Josh.
It was great to be met by such an interested person.
And I appreciated your interest in my car.

I think I've entered the serial no.s into the register dedicated to late mini K's (mine's Feb71), but I have'nt formally posted pics of it yet...slackness on my behalf.

Following a polish on the weekend, I'll work out how to send them through.

By the way, I hope you managed to find somewhere nice for dinner...
For a regional centre in the middle of the desert, Mildura has plenty of good food!

...i'm a fan of the way it's cleaned the dash up so much.

Now there's a really tidy home for the choke, heater tap, and lights...and another spare switch for something else in the future. Maybe rear demister?

It has that "classic not plastic" look. I like it. 8)

That is a stunning car, and like everyone, I really like the second switch pod (first time I've seen that).

Just goes to show that little gems can show up anywhere!
