A walking beam suspension is typically the axles mounted to each end of a beam and then the beam is mounted to the springs/chassis in the middle. So nothing at all like the Land-Rover Perentie.

Hmmmm don't remember the detail zactly....just semi eliptics with equaliser link...and the one pic I have from the line has the platform for the modules hiding the suspension.

Reasonably sure the RAEME guys always refered to them as "walking beam" ...ohhh well :roll:
