I spotted these at Summernats today, in a sea of bogans, rats tails and C bombs.

I had a chat to the V8 Van owner. He is from up Warragamba way, picked up a pair of rusty van bodies and melded the last good bits into this rod. The chassis is HJ, and the engine is out of a statesman which had been sitting on the ground for a number of years, and was put in and started exactly as it was found. Looked pretty good getting around the event. Always a shame to see a van go, but no doubt they would otherwise have been crushed.

Also, two videos of a pair of minis I saw participating in the Go-to-Whoa. Click on the image to watch.
