Driving home today I passed a green roundnose in between Ourimbah and Lisarow.

I think it had a lady driving ? not 100% sure on that though.

yeah yeah dont feel special boys, I didn't do it just for you :P . It scrapes everywhere. I reckon I did good by only doing a little scrape in that monster dippy driveway. One day I will wear off the bit of plastic trim that scrapes.

So ner. Or something.

In other news I spotted a not quite dark blue not quite light blue mini at erina tonight with silver viper stripes. Plate was AE75EU

Spotted in East Maitland this afternoon - a VERY nice looking red and white cooper S. He did a u turn in front of us. Plate was "THE68S". Very meaty exhaust. Sounded awesome bouncing off the walls of the shops in the street.

Anyone know it?

Spotted Scotty at Erina this afternoon. Saw him go thru the roundabout at Karalta Road and frightened the crap out of my passenger as I did the duck n weave to catch him.

Got him at the lights and managed to get his attention and have a little chat before they changed. :D

Finally spotted!!!! :D Did you remember seeing that council truck in front of me at the lights? Just seconds earlier he changed into my lane and nearly ran me over  Got an apologetic wave after the lights tho, It's good when people alcknowledge they've made a mistake, as we all do it from time to time - he just didn't see me.

In geelong, theres a bini, possibly a cooper s, convertible and the driver always waves. II dont normally wave at BINI drivers cos they tend to ignore us, but this guy always initiates the wave.

A first for me today.

My first wave from a moke *and* he initiated it. (Well, it looked like he was waving at me anyway).

T'was a yellow one.

Headed northbound on the F3 at Ourimbah at 5 this arvo I spotted heading southbound a BRG Roundie, a silver Clubbie and a Red BINI Cooper. Dunno if they were travelling together but they looked it all in line together.

[quote="poki"] Its like the term BINI - a lot of BINI owners have gotten all cut up about some classic owners calling us BINIs. I use the term with affection - whether it is meant as an insult or not. It is only insulting if you let it be.

i look at it in the way of it is a name that sets the classics away from the beemers. when i say it, everyone knows i mean a new mini. when i say mini, people know i mean classic or old.

Over here in perth there are a few 'snobbish' bini drivers. i wave at any mini, new, old, concourse, rust bucket. and i normally get a wave from mini owners, but not from bini drivers. always get a look.

there is one particular one. i see her every other day on the way to work. drives a yellow bini number plate 'bumblebee' wave every day. never gotten one back.

does that mean you will wave at us mini drivers when you drive the moke now that you are also a mini driver??? mind you, the moke will be driving too fast to worry about flies.
